SEOUL Day 1

So we took Malaysia Airline to KLIA for transit, then straight to Seoul from there. The plane we got on from SG was so tiny, literally like an airbus. & it smells like cuttlefish inside LOL. So horrified, tweeted Junwei when I reached KLIA if the plane to Seoul wld be better & thank god he said yes.

& thats my parents at the airport to send me off. Peace & Mel were kinda jealous. LOL

So this is the 2nd plane, the 'better' one.

Since it was a night flight (we boarded the 2nd plane at about 1130pm), we all hope to catch some sleep on the plane but unfortunately, NONE OF US COULD. Whats worse, after around 3 hours of flying I could feel the air getting so bad & my nose started leaking & sneezing non-stop. People in the same cabin were coughing too, imagine the amount of germs T_T I looked like a half-dead person & the Korean flight stewardess was asking if I was ok. Ah whatever it is.. I felt like dying. When we FINALLY landed, I went to the toilet & threw up. Told Peace & Mel that I felt like I was giving birth L Idk why this is happening but that was the first non-SQ airline that I took.

Went in to 7-11 after immigration & I remember the staff at the counter was fucking rude. I’ve heard about Koreans & their attitude but I didn’t expect myself to meet one like SO SOON. Was already in a screwed up mood cus of the unwell-ness & yet this.. So annoyed that I thought to myself I hate this place!!!! Things got better when I went to rent my iphone, the staff was nice. Took the airport shuttle 6015 to Myeongdong. It was a more than an hour journey & I died on the bus for half of the journey. We alighted at Sejong & had to take an underpass to go to the other side. Jiayee already warned me about the stairs and TRUE ENOUGH.. it was TERRIBLE. Korea subways hardly have escalators, they climb dk how many flight of stairs everyday. But we had no choice but to struggle with our luggages. Two young guys asked if we needed help in english but I was already lifting up my luggage so I shook my head & they walked away. Lugging the luggages UP the stairs was the craziest 세상에 T_T Thanks to Melissa w a good sense of direction, we found Namsan Guesthouse without getting lost. LOL

Me with my rented iphone4 :D

This is the slope that we climb up and down everyday. Kinda miss it now ^-^

& we're staying at Namsan 2 ! :)

We reached the guesthouse at about 11KST? I cant remember & we couldnt check-in yet. But all of us were tooooo tired to go anywhere so we sat outside for about 1~2 hours and they let us in once the room was ready :D All of us took a shower & Peace toasted a bread for me from the kitchen so that I could eat my medicine cus I still felt like shit! & we all agreed to take an hour nap before starting our day, totally needed the rest.

& thats our 'tilams' :D

After showering & the power nap, I do look much more refreshed T_T

We walked up a hill to the cable car place to go up to Namsan Tower & mind you, the hill was really a HILL & look what greeted us at the end of the hill. Our friend, STAIRS again.

LOL this photo is hilarious XD Mel looks out of breath & Peace looks annoyed 100%

Need to climb STAIRS AGAIN to get our tickets..

okay got it, round-trip tickets & up another floor for the cable car.

Peace has a fear for heights & she was quite worried. LOL

Stairs again. LOL & you were wondering why there arent alot of obese koreans.. no.. why do they have nice skinny legs, male & female.

Ah the signature love locks place !!!!! Too bad I didnt came with anyone to put a lock here with. LOL! There are millions and millions of them & I took some time to read the love messages written on the locks. So sweet & touching ^-^

Peace took our splendid looking hair while queuing for Cold Stone. LOL

I had 스바나~!!! Strawberry & Banana flavour.. I cant rmb how much it costs but definitely cheaper than SG !!!

We saw those few stones & decided to take some 'tiong kok' pictures with it. LOL Those shots where people like to pose with trees/views (which all looks the same) in sight-seeing places like China so we call it tiong kok photo.

Walao Peace super epic XD hahahahahhahaha

Now you see.. whats the point right.

My attempt of tion kok photo become like auntie lucy wannabe T_T

Ok la last tiong kok photo for you to laugh at.

The vending machine that was in BOF, said by Melissa.

Took the cable car back & we were ready to look for dinner. Melissa asked the receptionists in our guesthouse about nice bbq places & also about Yeolbong (Se7en's chicken shop). But them having almost 0 knowledge of kpop although they're koreans, didnt even know that this shop exists. So we told them oh, that is a shop opened by the singer se7en.. The girl finally realized we were talking about Se7en but the guy was still clueless & he went "아.. 7-11?"

Mel & I looked at each other with a o_o face and the girl explained quickly "아냐오빠~!! se7en 가수이야~!" HAHAHAHAHA She basically said to her blur oppa that se7en is a singer -_- Anw after this little joke, we decided to head to Myeongdong for dinner.

Welcome to Myeongdong!!!

& thats JYJ endorsing for Nature Republic. WHEN IS SINGAPORE GONNA CHANGE THEIR POSTERS TO JYJ TOO ?!

& this is inside Spao (SM's fashion line endorsed by SNSD & SuperJunior themselves)

& I got my Orange Caramel tees that I wanted for a 1+1 offer that day. WHEEE SO HAPPY!

Their clothes are selling like the prices of Uniqlo in Singapore.. & it is quite expensive in Korea.

After asking a few restaurants for menu, we finally decided on one and omg.. the bbq was the best we had ever eaten. Eat until I wanna cry please.

Korea's F&B service is TIPPP TOPPPPPP we don't even need to bbq ourselves, the servers helped us to bbq & even bring the meat to our plates *-* The guy saw my camera lying on the table & even initiated to help us take a photo XD THEY ARE SO NICE.

You see how crazy extreme they are.. when they're rude they are freaking rude, when they're nice, they are REALLY nice to you.

& there are no such thing as GST & service charge in the restaurants in Korea o_o So its really worthed it compared to Singapore, you get shitty service even if you pay!

See I was so ready to put the cabbage spreaded with their awesome sauce wrapped with a piece of 삼겹살 into my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTHING in Singapore can be compared to their bbq meat here! & this is the shop.

Look for Woori Bank in Myeongdong and it is just opposite the bank.

Didn't really shop Myeongdong in detail cus we would definitely go back as it is just 10mins walk from where we were staying. Bought some CDs from the cd shop in myeongdong subway, cds there are DIRT CHEAP!!!! JUST GRAB ONLY. I got my TeenTop-Roman, AS Red + Blue & 2ne1 2nd mini album for the price of.. probably only 2 in SG? 1 album is less than SGD$10 세상에~!

Thats the end of Day 1. We slept pretty early that day as we were still VERY tired from the shitty plane ride :(
