Seoul trip #2 - Arriving & Day 1

HELLO
I Am Back ~~~~~~~ :') & I shall start blogging before I get too busy since its back to work tml.

I would say this trip was a fruitful one. We went to mannnyyyyyy places, met all the people we wanted to meet, eat all the things we wanted to eat and all the things we wanted to do :)

17 February 2012, Friday

Our flight was a afternoon one. We had Popeyes for lunch & thanks Mummy for cabbing to the airport with me and Jasmine for sending us off! ^^

Thats us on the plane. Travelling with Melt unnie & Melly this time!

Our flight was delayed for like an hour plus T_______T Reason being too many planes were queuing to take off.

Dinner on the plane was beef & mashed potatoes.
I watched Real Steel and 那些年 again on the plane, REAL STEEL WAS AWESOME ;_;
Wanted to catch it badly but didnt have the chance to when it was showing.. thanks SQ lol.

Arrived in Korea at ard 11pm KST and saw my name on a paper right after we exit immigration lmaos. BUT WE STAND THERE NO DRIVER COME APPROACH US LEH TSK.
After awhile one uncle finally came and we were ready, to go out & embrace the COLD.
I checked the temperature & it was -10 deg

Melt was wearing shorts and our driver turned to her and say its really cold outside. She replied 괜찮아 and the uncle laughed. When the door opened I was like

ME GUSTA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -10 deg w no thermal wear, 1 layer of my top + my coat was crazy. I do not know how Melt survived although we were outside for just a few minutes.

The car was warm of course and our journey began!

This is our guesthouse, Myeongdong Hostel.

Us just arrived at our room. I rmb we went out to the nearest 7-11 with our 1 layer clothing & we were like runnnningggggg cus it was SO COLD.
Reminded us of the scene of Ljoe chasing his life for buses and trains.. I mean Sohyun..
so we imitated him and keep shouting SOHYUN-AH as we run homg.... we mad.

& how could we forget how hard it was to sleep that very night !!
OUR ROOM WAS SOOOO COLDDDDD
I was literally shivering through the night. Woah..

Now for the start of day 1 ! (it feels like the longest day ever I swear)
18 February 2012, Saturday

My lips were bare but they looked so pink like I have lipstick on.

& ready to go ! I remember the temperature was still negative outside and our staying place, Euljiro 1-ga is always so damn cold T_T

We went to Lotte Mart just opposite our guesthouse for lunch.


First day always got touristy shots cus still excited and fresh LOL.

& omg they said I looked like the pororo on my phone casing so I imitated it.....

Headed to Aura to collect Melt's KARASIA concert tic !! Took a cab from Cheongdam and our cab driver was the cutest & nicest ever! He didnt know the way at first so I was like JYP?
And he AHHHHHHH JYP !!!!!!! MissA! 2PM! 2AM!
Me: WONDER GIRLS !!!
& we go on & on like friends .__.
hes so cute luh he asked us about the weather in Singapore and he said
"Singapore, on air con, here on heater!"
LOLOL SO CUTE.
Then he turned and looked at me &
"Singapore, Korean.. same!"
LMAOOO
We're like.. all Asians look the same ._.

JYP building as Aura is just next to JYP apparently.

Nicole's mom was not in the shop that day :( but Melt met the very nice manager there and she really was very nice!! ;_;
We promised her we will come back again to eat.

Went to the Dunkin Donuts opposite JYP for hot coffee. It is always hot coffee in Korea for me -_- the feeling of drinking it in a cold weather is just.. shiok.

KARASIA's tic!

Cube was just next to JYP also apparently and it seriously doesnt look like.. Cube ent until they told me -_-

We went to Myeongdong after Cheongdam and it was so much warmer there compared to other places. Didnt feel like shopping this time with all the thick layers of clothes & you wont really feel like leaving your hands out of your pockets at outdoors.




Thawing.. I mean chilling at starbucks & Melly was looking at her 2ne1 Nolza dvd !

Oh Melly bought a big Kapibara too !!

Then we separated ways with Melt as she left for KARASIA alone while Melly & I headed to 청량리. We were supposed to meet Melly's unnie in the day but she couldnt make it in time. She came to Seoul all the way from Gwangju!! So both of us went to TeenTop's fansign to find her and apparently we could see TeenTop while they sign.

Two pathetic travellers sitting in the subway. LOLOL everyone was looking at us ._.

& then it got really cold in the subway I put on my mask -_-

We went in the bookstore and waited for TeenTop to arrive. Mygod all the k fans brought stools to stand on and I was quite badly squashed..

When TeenTop arrived.. it was totally different from Singapore events T_T
I can only hear 어!! 이쁘다~! 예뻐~!! then no more noise when TeenTop made their way in.

I didnt bring my camcorder out so I can only use my iphone to take some pathetic pictures T_T
I was tiptoe-ing all the time and stretching my short arms up to take photos.. like a helpless kid like that!
Apparently a nice kor fan beside me offered help and she took my phone and snapped a photo (shes standing on a stool)
But thennnnn when I saw the picture.. it was NIEL

wai you like thatttttt do I look like a Niel fan that much :(

Ljoe does looked like he spotted a Pororo iphone amongst all the pro shooting machines.

It was so nice of 리움 unnie to help us get post-it from Ljoe ;_;
Melly & I wrote a msg to Ljoe (cus hes the only one that will prolly care) and he replied ... LOL

Headed back to Myeongdong after the fansign with 리움 unnie and she treated us dinner D8
Melt came back to us after KARASIA too LOL.

& because it was late & redundant for unnie to travel back she came over to stay with us for a night! Kyakya~ she told us many stories and some vids of TeenTop ^-^

Shared a single bed with Meltmelt that night

It was really squeezy but really cozy and warm RIGHT
LOLOL At least we could sleep a bit more hours compared to the first night.

Whoosh finally the end of Day 1 !! That day was really long and fun :')
