August Favourites 2013

BELLLOOOOOOW

There are so many things I want to blog about all the time but its the same excuse again..

I thought of doing a 'Favourites' post would be nice!
But I think the title should be July because it is only 6th of August today. BUT I DONT CARE CUS JULY IS A CRAPPY MONTH .___.

#1 First up, this one confirm neither July nor August LOL
I bought Tony Moly's Shiny Foot Super Peeling Liquid when I was in Korea in May.. in short it is a foot mask lah.
I got it for 8000won(~S$9) which I thought was rather pricey. BUT IVE CHECKED THE PRICE IN SINGAPORE, THEY ARE SELLING FOR $21.90 .___.
I feel so bad to say this and affect their sales but omg so not worth it when you can get it for 50% off in Korea.
I help Korea's tourism okay ._.

Anyways....

Theres a pair of white plastic bag which you will wear it on ur feet and then pour the liquid in, seal it and tie a knot. Erm you are supposed to soak your feet for 1.5hrs as stated on the instruction BUT I COULDNT SIT THERE FOR 1.5HRS WITHOUT MOVING MY LEGS, it is quite challenging tbh because theres still nature's call. I will advise you to pee/poop before doing this mask. I had to walk like a duck to the bathroom and was so glad that Peanut was somewhere in the house and didnt chase me around.

AHAH I AM SORRY FOR THE UNGLAMNESS but I took photos of the peeling process so I might as well share it :x
The instructions and a lot of reviews I read says that your dead skin will only start to peel on the 4th or 5th day. TRUE ENOUGH it started peeling on the 4th day!
Idk if you are supposed to peel the skin off yourself but I would totally recommend you to because you don't want skin dangling on your feet and leave behind dead skin everywhere you walked.

Tadaaa a smooth foot after removing most of the dead skin.
The 'shedding' process will continue for about a week more and it was rather annoying -_-

Even on this side of the foot ;_;
But I would totally recommend removing dead skin cells using this because it is cheap and actually works!
My feet are still decent looking now btw LOL

#2 is a iPhone photo editing/camera app - PICLAB!
THIS APP IS AMAZING AND IS NOW MY FAVOURITE PHOTO EDITING APP.

 This app is FREE!
But comes with strong temptations for you to unlock their fonts & masks.

Here is the first pic I edited using Piclab.

This is the original photo of a sky that I randomly took.
The app comes with Photo Filters, option to adjust brightness & contrast, blur, exposure & saturation (FREE)
Limited fonts, borders & shapes, light fx, textures and patterns. A lot of the given are good enough for a free app.

But after playing awhile I couldnt resist to pay to unlock all the fonts and borders + shapes, which costs me S$1.28 each only.
I am not a person that would spend $$ on apps but strangely, YES FOR THIS.

More shameless edits haha..

the faces here are from another app called Snapeee

I cant wait to edit scenery photos from Blue Mountain Kelong, which I will be going this Friday image

This app is not available on Android yet though!
I hope it will be by the time I change my phone to Samsung !!! image

 #3 Hooked earrings
Seems like the trend is back again! I will start wearing them nao lol.

 #4 RED hair
I swear I still love my blonde streaks a lot but I had them dyed on December last year and the roots are getting too annoying to ignore.

Went on searching a lot of hair colours on instagram/facebook until I saw this photo!

(photo credit to ivankan81 on instagram)
SO PRETTY *-*

So I made an appointment and went to the salon and showed the hairstylist this photo.
I knew it will be hard to achieve so I picked red and copper from the colour chart she showed me.
She explained how the colours will turn out to me and I agreed before we start to dye.

I've decided to do without the bleaching (which I regretted) because my ends are already dying and fried =^=

But I will admit that bleached ends will look better for this set of ombre colour!

The results, I would say looks very different from the photo but the very pretty & nice hairstylist did mention to me before so it is okayyy!!!!!

Dark red + copper ombre~ the photo on the right is quite true to the real colours.
I am hoping it will look even better when my hair grows abit longer and the copper will fade to the colour from the photo xD

#5 My most recent favourite filter is 'Sweet' under Magic Skin from Camera360 !!!
Camera360 is the bessssstbestest camera app.

Today's selfie and photo with BFF lol

Taken using the same filter too!

#6 Shoes from Le Bunny Bleu
Didnt allow myself to step into this shop until I feel that I really need a new pair of casual shoes.

Yay I love the mint colour here!
I really want their ladies oxford shoes now >_< ahh bank account is bleeeeding.

#7 this will be the last!
CC Cream in Silky from Etude House.

CC Cream is already the trend in Korea when I was there in May so I had to get 1 and try.
AND I LOVE IT!
I've just gotten Tony Moly's Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream but it doesnt work as well as Etude's.

Lazy to explain how CC cream works and why is it good.. there are already plenty of reviews.

HAHA CAN I INCLUDE THIS ANOT?!
Favourite new otp, KAISOO.

Just kidding... image
