SEOUL Day 4 - Edae

Before blogging this I was watching Infinite's Sesame Player & I just finished ep7. The first few episode they were running away from their managers & they escaped to places like Hongdae & Edae.. GOD HOW I MISS THOSE PLACES X'(

When am I going back to KOREA!!!
Before I go out of point.. im splitting Day 4 into 2 posts because we went different places & its quite image heavy.

Selca(ssss) of the day~ LOL 难得 I was using iPhone must make full use of the front cam what. Anw, I woke up with a double eyelid on my left eye that day, not the first time -_- so I look abit wierd in photos. & its spects day without the lens~! LOL

It was raining during our Day4 unfortunately but we were rather thankful because the weather was great during our first 3 days in Seoul. Even before the day I fly I read so many tweets from the korean celebs talking about TYPHOON (all like "태풍조심해요"). Kanasai, scare me to no end. But when we landed, it was drizzling a lil but soon after it ended, weather was perfect!

Right, so we pulled out our umbrellas and went street shopping at Edae~! Edae is a short term for the place or station called Ewha Womens University.

From far, you can see the womens university, the castle-like building. Their university look like some kingdom.. lol you can google the pictures. Sadly, we don't have a chance to study in such pretty schools.

Ohya, we didnt have lunch yet and were looking around for restaurants with hopefully, really nice korean food. We decided to enter this shop down the stairs, hidden in like a 'basement'. They have alot of hidden shops or cafes and restaurants in either the basement or 2nd floor of the little shop houses along the streets. So if you see stairs you might wanna stop and look at the standing advertisements. So that was how we found the little shop that sells korean food that looks nice!

We were greeted by this friendly looking 아저씨 who lead us to a table, the restaurant was empty at that time though, maybe because we entered at around 3pm? T_T
Mel ordered a beef stew, I ordered 만두국 (like dumplings) & I forgot what Peace ordered.. and not to forget, we ordered a 순두부찌개 to share too.

Heres our fooood and you guessed it, THE FOOD WERE ALL SO DELICIOUSSSSSSSSSSS

Side dishes were AWESOME too. How nice is it to live in Korea, we keep going in shops randomly but the food NEVER EVER disappoints. The tofu stew (순두부찌개) was especially nice & the taste was unforgettable. I don't think you can get such delicious tofu stew in Singapore ;_; Melissa's soup frm her beef stew was SO SWEET as if alot of sugar was added in but im pretty sure they didnt, it all comes from the goodness of the beef!!
An 아줌마 came out & serve us too so we concluded that this middle-aged couple opened their small eatery together with LOVE, that is why the food tastes so nice, & with their warm hospitality we feel even more touched as we eat.
LOL I would love to visit again when im back in future.

Sorry we forgot to take a picture of the shop and we didnt even take down the shop's name cus we really went in randomly & came out satisfied. Now it is a problem if I want to go back isnt it T^T

keke theres a board by the wall for their customers to doodle so Melissa signed our names and 'from Singapore' on it. I wrote somthing too xD

Shopping shopping, all of us bought some clothes, they have a few shops that sells alot of clothes for like less than 10 000 won (around less than sgd$10) but you need to really find those nice and worthed it ones. I also bought a small 10 000won bag & Mel bought a bagpack. Lots of shops selling shoes but they're all quite the same, we can't seem to really find one that we like so we didnt get any.

Connie wanted me to meet her friend, a Singaporean studying in Seoul & get her 손곰신's slogan from him.. haiyo the pain of meeting a stranger in a FOREIGN country. LOL
We wanted to meet at Sinchon station so we arrived at a station that clearly says Sinchon. See.

The blue characters at the right.. so I decribed my location & he doesnt seems to know. After much confusion, I entered the station & to finally realize im at the Sinchon RAIL WAY.. that has the same station name Sinchon. TSSSSSSSSSSSK So I told him I was at the railway & he need to wait for me at the actual subway station.

We were outside this pretty Paris Baguette while trying to communicate with Connie's friend.

Edae is just beside Sinchon so we were confident that we were on the correct place.. sigh. So we went back & walked down a straight road for about 15minutes & we miraculously ended up in Sinchon subway station. Ok so I looked for this look-like-Singaporean guy & exchanged our things phew.

After this, we took the subway to Hapjeong, ready for an 'adventure' to find Bau House (a very famous dog cafe which I heard SHINee? and Minzy & Park Bom had went there before). We only have its address and Bau House is known to be located in Hongdae. But we read somewhere that it is actually nearer to Hapjeong if we were to walk & we dont have the directions -_- Many people said it is a very confusing place to find so we were prepared to start on this 'adventure'
