SEOUL Day 4 - Bau House

& so~ we arrived at Hapjeong and following the road name given on the address of Bau House, we were lead to Exit 3 from the station.
There are maps in each subway station, giving you directions to which exit to take when you alight.

Bau House's address:

405-13 Seogyo-dong

Map-gu Seoul

This is exit 3 & as soon as we came out, NOTHING seems like streets & alleys where Bau House is supposed to be hiding in. What we see are just tall buildings on the right and a busy road on the left.
However, you should see an animal clinic on your right once you come out from exit 3 that looks like this!

Translated or romanized to be New York Animal Clinic.. hmm. Us being completely lost, we decided to seek help from this animal clinic, hoping that someone will know about this cafe & direct us to it. SO, The Yawen went in & a male vet asked if he could help in korean.. immediately I asked about how do we go to Bau House. Honestly I was so afraid he is in the 'extreme rude' category for Koreans & I was scared if I sounded rude or even speaking the right korean -___-

THANKFULLY, HEAVEN IS ON OUR SIDE! Mr Vet immediately "Ahh~ Bau House!!" then he paused & looked at us.. "Japanese?" (we get this question almost everyday when we buy things. Koreans probably JUST ASSUME all their foreigners are Japanese cus I think 80% of their foreigners are japs)

So we shook our hands and "ah nono..." & he continued "아 중국어.. chinese?" & we nodded.
(this is common as well, when you tell them you're no japanese they will automatically assume you're chinese. But then, they'll mistook you're from China. To save effort, just live with it cus if you continue & say "ENGLISH" they'll probably look at you and frown and ignore you. LOL)

I rmb I told him we're from Singapore since he was so friendly & approchable, he paused again & thought.. and again he "아.. 싱가폴!!" ^-^ So he went on & asked if we have a map and we shook our heads, he gave a 'ah this is kinda hard to tell them..' face expression. He then told us to hold on he will draw a map for us! HOW NICE OF HIM!!!!

He then went on and fold & tear some papers while keep telling us to wait.. LOL! & there he go, drawing and even took the effort to explain to us with his limited english. HE WAS REALLY NICE I SWEAR. So as not to waste his tremendous kind effort, I am gonna post his map, drawn with love, for everyone! LMAO

He drew everything in detail. You will see why from the pictures I took to guide you all.

This is the only path way you see when you got out from exit 3. According to the map, keep walking straight until you see the cross road juction.

Make a right-turn as soon as you see the cross road junction and you will see this smaller alley. Keep walking straight.

He drew a narrow road on the map so this is that road you will see.

& you should see this bullding infront and you can make a right turn now. Very near already!

This is the road after you made the right turn & I stopped taking photos cus it was raining quite heavily. But according to the map, you should make another left turn, across this road if im not wrong and keep ur eyes WIDE OPENED cus Bau House is on the third floor. We almost walked passed it, luckily I sensed something (must be my inner dog instinct LOL) & I looked up & we finally found it.

& take this entrance beside it, there is a lift *thankful* & so we went 3rd floor.

TADAH!!!!!!!!!!

It was a Friday evening & already so crowded !!! A lady will come over and ask for your name and number of pax. Honestly we don't really understand her at first.. LOL Because the cafe was full, we need to put a name on their waiting list & you can go over to the waiting area & wait for a table. Meanwhile, you can play with the dogs of course! There were many of them hiding in every possible corner!!!!

Few minutes after I entered, I feel a little creature climbing and jumping on my leg. I bent down & I saw a little black doggie showing lots of affection to me. HAHAHAHHA He was literally jumping & jumping, trying to catch all my attention. I was so not used to that little creature cus when Peanut stands like him, hes on my chest area -_-

Hahahhahaha look at him!!!!!!!! Hes so adorable!!

I played with him a little and he danced and hop around with two legs.. LOL so entertaining ^^ in no time he was my favourite in there! (shit I forgot to check if its a he or she, lets presume its a he)

& I named him Xiao Hei (Little Blackie) although his real name is Sakura T_T I no like :X

Now I have a feeling its a she .__.

Oh & after awhile, there was a commotion when all the dogs rushed to the entrance gate, 5 dalmations came!!!! The pack went kinda wild~~ the dalmations were all kinda scary.. they're big & skinny & fast & keeps peeing .__.

But well, in Bau House it is all about cleanliness since its a cafe. The staff that they employ there will clean up any pee & poop in less than a minute. They clean they mop they spray they clean again. LOL impressed! So don't worry about the smell or getting dirty.

The celebrity of the cafe, Beast's 7th membo!!! Hahahhaha this creature is so huge & all it does was to lie down there & NOT MOVE unless theres food. LOL

We got our table after waiting for about 15~20 minutes? The waiting time is nothing however, you can play with dogs and do whatever you want.

They serve drinks & snacks in the cafe but nobody really ordered food ._. & each person must order at least a drink there. I had cherry coke!

As soon as we settle down on our table, a brown toy poodle landed on our table, welcoming us as if that table was his or her territory!! We were kinda deceived by its cute and approaching face because as soon as any dog wanted to get near us, this poodle will BARK mercilessly at it until it disappears. We were shocked & like o_o

BUT ITS STILL CUTE !!! Hahha it liked us too. This poodie even dared to bark off the dalmation that we didnt really like when it trolled by. HAHAHA

& soon after we had fun with the poodle, XIAO HEI WAS GONE!!!! I looked around the whole cafe but he disappeared :(

I think this is a Samoyed but it wasnt really friendly~~

The staff playing with the lazy beast, it doesnt even move even when the staff flipped it over & over. Hahahhaha it was so funny to see, & see that corgi trolling beside.. LOOOL!

Then all of a sudden, Xiao Hei came running back infront of me & looked at me XD Hahahahah I wonder where did he go!!! He still followed me around a little but not jumping anymore, I guessed he used up half of its energy LOL.

Nye~~ couldnt take a clear photo of Xiaohei's collar tag but it reads Sakura in Korean though.

Poodie that started showering me with love, it came and sat on me & lied down on my lap.

& even kissed meeee! (*coughdjdoesntapprovecough*)

Peace & Mel went to buy treats for the dogs but I was hesitant because I dont like it when dogs swarm over & bearing in mind the wild DALMATIONS!!!!!
True enough, the dalmations swarmed over Peace and she was like yelling ~ LOL~!!!

I took some of her treats and the dalmations again!!! Kept climbing onto me almost ripping off my shirt ~_~

Oh & there this dog that has its mouth FOREVER OPENED LIKE THAT

omg so funnnny but so cute XD It doesnt climb on you but just sat down alone looking at you.. WITH ITS MOUTH OPENED LIKE THAT. loooooool so cute I had to feed him more XD

Cute maltese that doesnt ever comes to our table, I had to carry it over since Mel was demanding it.

& this sheep dog? that just laid here being quite 'zor dang' :X

CONE OF SHAME! Have no idea why this dog is given the cone, but I think he or she is very cute :)

& finally we left the Bau House with many memories made with our new friends. I kinda miss them but we're so far away now :(

It was pouring outside & we had to walk back to the subway & we went Myeongdong again according to my photos. LOL

Spao again, Yuri Donghae Siwon Sooyoung Kyuhyun & Eunhyuk. HYUK ROCKING THE BLONDE. He looks so good.

I think dinner was just snacks from family mart? I couldnt remember & I dont have any photos of dinner in my camera.. hmm

So thats the end of the long Day 4. I hope the directions were helpful to free&easy travellers going on a trip to Seoul.
