SEOUL Day 5

I still have mis-match eyes (all the way until I came back infact) so yea..
Anw, Peace reminded me that we had KFC for dinner on Day4 I totally forgot about it! XD
I think I prefer Lotteria to KFC, didnt have a chance to try their McDonalds thou..

Bear with me if this entry is boring T^T I couldnt think of any inspiring things to write about.

It was a day to go Dongdaemun. Theres this basement shopping place that links straight from the subway station. It sells fabric.. and curtains ._.

After we exit, we walked along a row of shops that are selling fabric, laces and lots of sewing neccesities. The more we walked the more wrong it seems.. so we u-turn and found the correct shopping place. It started raining tht day too :(

With our hungry stomachs as usual, we bought some street food which I find it rather expensive T_T Prices are always marked up in these touristy places so be careful & wise!

Ddeokbokki that costs 3000 won.

Peace's sausage wrapped with bread & potato.

& Melissa's facial expression here makes her food looked really delicious. LOL

Everything was nice :) Nothing disappointing.

Theres Doota! One of the famous shopping centres in Dongdaemun.

Clothes inside Doota are real pretty but their prices T_T similar to Singapore ones, not really affordable for poor tourists like us.

We went to lvl6, the kids level where SHINee filmed their HelloBaby at.

The dippin dots that Minho bought from.. they say its still the same ahjumma.. LOL I cant remember la.

HelloBaby viewers, familiar right :)

We left the crowded mall and walked further down the street where Migliore is. Migliore is a cheaper mall that is quite similar to our Bugis Street. You have alot of small stores selling cheap clothes. Cheap ones are 10 000won but most of the better looking shops sell their clothes as high as 30 000won for just a top -_-

We bought a few dresses from this shop selling all at 10 000won. Quite a good deal and the ahjumma started asking if I can speak 한국말~ I told her only a little and she asked if I can speak chinese again. LOL & then she started asking me how to say this and that (in korean) in Chinese.. like numbers & all.. I become like living translator? o_o LOL they keep talking and I had to walk off to end the conversation haiyoo.

Most of the girls wld probably have their shopping spree mode turned ON once they go Migliore but I still find their clothes quite marked up. Nice blouses that I see are ALWAYS above 10 000won, im sure I can find cheaper bargains on Gmarket. So we left Migliore and went to see the 门 of Dongdaemun.. HAHA

Tadaaa! We didnt go over because this was good enough.

Omg why do I look so shag in this photo & I look so puffed up.. ahhhhg~! This is just fugly !!!

~__~

Sky is still bright & we're already done with boring Dongdaemun, I was so tired of shopping that day LOL. Shopping in Dongdaemun is kinda nothing if you've visited Edae & Hongdae. So we decided to train to Hongdae for dinner. We were actually in Hongdae the day before (Bau House) but we went back straight after cus we cant really go street shopping cus of the weather.

LOL sulking me, I have no idea why was I so tired that day but well, as soon as we reached Hongdae I came alive.

& this is Hongdae !!!!!!!!! Sorry I forgot which exit we took but it immediately leads us to these little stalls followed by the really busy streets crowded with your favourite korean youngsters :x

So many different roads you would need to hesitate to turn right or left or go straight at times.

Pretty cafes here & there, you really need time to explore them all, there're like millions of very well-furnished cafes in Seoul. Idk why they like to drink coffee so much but yea, they like to chill and talk in cafes so there're so many of them!

Peacey buying this cake-like thing that has egg on top.

The main road in Hongdae & the traffic there is kinda scary. Alot of people just dash across the road.

Spotted this Hello Kitty cafe sitting on top of a hill, I would have missed it if Melissa didnt spot this first cus its in some alley again. LOL We then decided to come back for dessert or coffee after our dinner so we continued walking around Hongdae.

& it started raining again all of a sudden.. & you can see Koreans react to their weather like pros. LOL they pull out their umbrellas almost immediately when it drizzles like they already know that it will pour soon. True enough the drizzle got bigger and we quickened our footsteps & just in timeeeeeeee Melissa spotted Yelbong !!!! Homg we found Yeolbong just like that !! XD

(Yeolbong is the shop opened by Se7en if you missed my prev entries)

So we quickly went in for dinner & to escape from rain, how nice!

Well yes I've heard about the food being spicy & also judging from those chilli decorations hanging around the shop... 두근두근!!!

We met a young boy (I didnt wanna call him xiao didi :X) server who can speak limited english so we ordered the medium one w 3 밥 & when he asked us for the choice of flavour we're all like LEAST SPICY LEAST SPICY lmao.

I told Mel that he got those 'trainee' look & Mel said he might be a YG trainee & Se7en 'invited' him here to part-time.. lol imaginative talk~ Mel was like "Nxt time when he debut we can tell people that he cleared our chicken bones before!"

LOL SO MEAN. tsk

Tadaaah~ looks very chinese-style and looks nothing like a spicy dish.

The rice comes with fish roe and topped with a generous amount of seaweed!!! Yummmmms

Another shot. There were like 'dang-hoon' in the dish but 'kuey-tiao' size (I think only Singaporeans understand what am I talking about T_T)

Ok smth like noodles & they're really spicy since it absorbed the sauce. But the chicken is still bearable.. VERYVERY NICE DISH!!!

Happy! We couldnt finish the entire plate & didnt wanna waste so we asked the boyboy to help us pack it for supper yeay!! & he gave us a STACK of Yeolbong napkins & I still have them. ANYONE WANTS YEOLBONG NAPKINS ???

If you're a fan of kpop you would've been familiar with these photos.

Peace took this and she said "cus I only know Onew out of all of the people in the pictures"

AHAHAHA

& Mel's husband

I don't have a bias in those pictures so I nvr take lor.

Haha the famous standee~

Me looking awkward w auntie shopping bags.. ugh!

How nice it stopped raining after we had our fulfiling dinner so we head back to Hello Kitty Cafe!

Quite crowded so went to 2nd floor to get seats.

Everything is so pink. I ordered the green tea latte & was given this buzzer.. so cute!!

I rmb Lotteria uses buzzer too, I didnt know Seoul is this hi-tech. Hello Singapore, pls stop using the traditional number tags alrd :x

Waited for it to beeeeeeep & vibrate & happily went down & collected our pretty & kittyish coffee.

Jajjanggg!! Kya! Too adorable :D & don't presume they're pricey! Nono! Prolly less than the smallest cup of Starbucks in Singapore! Mine was 5200won I think.

Ah yes the kitty-themed toilet too..

Even the lightings in the cafe are so pink that we get free 'toasted' effect when we take photos.. too toasted infact.. we look like we're roasting in the oven xD

Roasted Yawen anyone?

Sat there for quite some time & had some fun taking polaroids. & so we went back.

Our most epic supper everrrrrrrrrrrr, our leftover Yeolbong! Omggggg so delicious but spicy to no end. All of us were tearing because the noodles absorbed everything well inside it is insane. We had to like add hot water to dilute the spiciness but still great. Most memorable supper we had xD

I wanted to go Inkigayo for ZE:A's 막방 the next day but they wasnt doing pre-recording, which means I need to queue for the live show WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE because of 2ne1 & Super Junior. My friends on twitter seems very active when I mentioned abt fangirling & they all helped me out XD Omg I love them like a so much :') Jiayee even called me while I was showering hahahaha. To find out you got to wait till I blog on day 6 which I am really reluctant to cus it didnt turned out that well.

Thanks for reading up till here! xD
