Recently I keep having people telling me that I slimmed down and I find it very incredible because my weighing scale says "HAH! LIKE REAAAAAL" instead!
The mystery was solved when someone told me that my face got smaller. Not that I can tell the difference myself but after comparing photos I DO think that my face got smaller!!

No I never use any face-slimming skincare but since I'm talking about skincare I'll share some reviews!
(i'm not saying these products will work if you want to slim down your face!)
My all time favourite moisturizer has got to be LANEIGE Water Sleeping Pack!!!!
I know this is a night moisturizer but it works just fine for my oily skin, I use it day & night and I like to put it under my makeup everyday. I think this is my 3rd tub already.
*tip: I always buy mine from duty free or buy from Korea if I am there because the price is like half of the retail price in Singapore!
& then weeeeeeks ago something scary happened to my skin. My cheek area started to breakout quite badly, dead skin peeling off etc.. !!! So I decided to get an exfoliating gel first.
I am sure you have seen CURE before if you frequent Watsons and I've always wanted to try. But the price was stopping me -_- $49/bottle to remove dead skin LOL but that day I didnt care much about the price la I just grab and pay.
I follow the instructions of using it twice a week, sometimes cheat a little on the areas I want to clean more on. At first I thought this product only removes dead skin but after rinsing the gel off, it leaves my skin reallllyyy smooth and soft!!! Rather than it removes my dead skin effectively, I think I like that it makes my skin feels smooth and hydrated more.
Lots of people swear by Hada Labo being the best 'drugstore' skincare line so I thought it is time to try it out too.

I first apply these two products after the usual cleansing.. etc but instead of getting just soft and hydrating skin, I wake up to an oily face -_-
Although I have dry skin going on around my cheek area but the products didn't really help much.for my skin. I guess that the hydrating line works for dry skin instead.
I love the application process though, you're supposed to gently pat the lotion to your skin until it starts to stick and bounce like what the TV ad shows. LOL
I've read a lot about Kiehl's skincare as well so I decided to give a try on their products.
I was worried about the smell when I saw the Calendula petals in the bottle and the word 'HERBAL' though... but the smell was so pleasant I feel like drinking it instead -_- it smells like flower tea..
This is by far the most soothing product I've ever felt when applied to my skin...
And it really does effectively reduce the redness around my nose and improves the problem areas (cheeks, nose..) with just a few days!!!!!
I can tell the difference on the reduced oil on my face during mornings after using it together with the Hada Labo hydrating products too!
I got the medium sized bottle for $78.
I've got mild acne scars that could be covered with makeup but who doesnt want a pretty bare face T_T
So I got this product that is known to minimize the appearance of acne and blemishes. The person from Kiehl's told me it can prevent and treat acne scars too so I got sold.
I had a pimple that day and I applied this to it and the next morning I could easily scratch the pimple off. Not really scratch but I can't think of another word, scrape? LOL
As for the scars, I dont see a significant change to it I guess it takes a bit of time.
A tube is $52!
I have yet to try out the samples, I guess I will review again if they are worth reviewing! :D
